Like many people, I too am taking a moment to think about what I am thankful for during this special holiday season. First and foremost, I am thankful for my family. In particular, I am the proud mom of two amazing college students. They are happy and healthy which means the world to me. I am also thankful for my friends. I have moved around a lot in my adult life so I am lucky enough to have friends sprinkled all over this country. Some have already visited me in my new home in Sedona and some are still in the planning stage. I can't wait to see them.
Moreover, I am also incredibly thankful for my new friends in Sedona. Starting over at 58 can be scary. Moving to a place where I hardly knew anyone was a big leap of faith. But the people here have made it a wonderful experience. They have been so warm, open, and welcoming. It has meant so much.
Finally, I am thankful for the new life I am creating. I have had the opportunity to move to a place I have dreamed of for many years and start a business that celebrates the town I love and has helped to make me part of the community. How lucky am I? I hope you too have many things to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving and may the rest of 2024 bring you everything you wish for.
